Just wanted to say Hi, I'm an old friend of Larry’s living
in California. Your music brings back the good old days
and great memories.
Any chance you may make to Los Angeles.
Say Hi to Larry for me.
Too bad you don't come to Boston. Saw your fabulous group
twice when I lived in FL.
Keeping the doowops alive and well in my house,
Mary
Saw your concert last night in Glen Cove. You guys are great
but I do have three points for you to consider, 1-Many times
the band was louder than you which caused your voices to be
drowned out. They should bring it down a few decibels.
2- Either lose the jokes or have funnier ones. 3- the joke
about the kids playing in car trunk was completely off base
and in very bad taste
Got your info from a friend. Looking forward to seeing you
perform tonight at the park.
Best of Luck! Jeannie & Bob Wahl

Hi, I went with Sonny Steffen Sat. to see your show at
Mercer County College. I really enjoyed the show, since I
sing lead in a female barbershop quartet. Boy, do I wish I
could sing and put over a song like Larry. You all have
such wonderful voices. I bought your CD and it is great.
Just thought you would like to know my 100 year old
fatherlistened to it on his portable cd player. He loved it
so much, he has listened to it twice already, and does not
want me to put in another CD. He was a drummer and
vocalist in a three piece band, and danced in vaudeville.
So you have another fan. Please let me know when you put
out a new CD. Hope to be able to hear you again in concert.
I live in Rahway, NJ. Our Union County Arts Center has had
several doo-wop shows. Hope sometime you will be on the
bill. Lynn Harko

I'm Uncle Harvey's niece. Love your music! Can't wait for
the new CD.
I came from New Jersey to Kings on Sat. night. I came to
see you guys and to see my neighborhood. Tilden High
School. Ate at Juniors, saw the concert. I thought you
guys were the ultimate great. I liked the Classics.
Then I got into a car accident and got home at 5. Anyway, even the accident was
worth it for the fun of seeing you guys. I saw where Sid
Gordon lanes were. I cried. Now I have to go to the body
shop to get the car fixed. It was worth it. I want to see
you guys again. You were great.
i was at the kingsborough college concert last evening and
i had such a wonderful time. i've seen the quotations at
micali terrace in brooklyn and you guys always put on a
wonderful show. thanks for keeping this music alive for us.

As I said in my e-mail ordering your CD, of the four
performances at the recent Westchester Dinner Theatre, your
group was by far my favorite. The selections, the
performance and the presentation was excellent. Listening
to your group truely brought back memories of standing
under the street light on the corner of Knickerbocker and
Grove in Ridgewood, Brooklyn. Kepp the spirit alive.
Mike.

I am a 20 year old guy from England. I really love 50s and 60s music,
especially doo-wop.
'Imagination' is my all-time favourite song. It makes you feel so good. It has
happy memories for me.
It's good to know you are still performing these days. Where can I get a
CD of your recordings?
Hardly anyone in England knows about doo-wop (especially my age) which is a
shame but I still love
it.
Andrew

"Hi Quotations! Good to see that the group is STILL going strong after
all
these years. I listen to your new CD all the time. I bought it at Ronnie I's
Clifton Music Shop, which is my favorite store. It's great to finally have
all the original Quotations recordings on CD, as well as all the new
recordings. I hope you'll be putting out more CD's in the future. The group
still sounds great!" Falsetto Moretto

Many Greetings from Germany!
My Name is Andy, I am 35 years old and I am living in Germany. The first time
I hear Imagination, I was 14, but it was from Rocky Sharpe and the Replays.
It was a wonderful song and I started to search for the Original. Now, 21
Years later I have it. Your CD is great. Many Thanks for your beautiful
songs. I am a real Doo Wop fan since I heard Imagination. Keep going on, you
are still great. All the best, Andy

Dear Quotations, I recently purchased your new CD, and I think it is really
great. Nobody has ever done "Teardrops" like that before, and I mean
that in
the most positive way possible! and as far as Valarie goes, I have seen you
perform this song on stage and it is a show stopper...Thanks loved your album
cant wait for the next one! Hope to see you in person soon! Your fan,

NJ appearance I would love to attend. Perhaps someday. I'll check your web
site for a location near me!

Hi! I heard you guys on the Doo Wop Shop last night, and it was great to
hear that your group is still performing. I'm really glad that your new CD
is out too! It's cool that you have included all the old recordings as well
the new material. I'm looking forward to buying the CD soon!
I'm a 24 year old guy living in Parsippany NJ, originally from Brooklyn NY.
I'm a huge oldies fan and collector. When I was really young, my father
introduced me to the record "Imagination" with "Ala Men Sy"
on the flipside.
My dad said he always played it at college parties in the 60's. I loved the
record immediately and it became one of my favorite songs ever! When I was
20, I found the record "This Love of Mine" in an oldies shop. I'd
never
heard it, but I bought it just because it was by the Quotations. I loved
that one also! Since then, I've also heard a couple of other Quotations
songs on the Doo Wop Shop which I also liked a lot. Now I'm a big fan of the
Quotations. I'm really looking forward to seeing the group in concert soon,
and getting that new CD! Good luck to the whole group!

I have listened to you for many years. I bought imagination after hearing it
on Murray the K. as a city lifeguard at Rockaway beach we heard the record
over and over (including the flip side) as late as 1969 at the jukes on the
boardwalk.
your sound is great and I have the new cd. hope it never ends.

Dear Quotes, Enjoyed your interview with Don k Reed last night, And I am
looking forward to buying your CD. I am a long time fan and have a copy of
your 45 with Imagination/ Alamensy on the flip. I also have your album with a
very nice picture on the cover in your plaid jackets. A while ago I was in
the record store and they were displaying a 45 of "See You In
September" but
they wanted $75.00 for it so I passed(sorry Guys). Now I know I can get it on
your CD. I am looking forward to seeing you in concert again soon. I truly
think that you are among the best acts in the business. your fan Stuboss1

Heard you guys on Don K. Reid tonite and it brought back some great memories.
I lived on 15th street a few doors down from Lew. In fact you probably won't
recall but at the beginning you did not have a tape recorder. I am a few
years younger than you and I was asked to borrow my tape recorder. For many
years I held onto an original tape of Imagination taped in the basement
"studio". My kids got tired of hearing the story every time I told it
when I
heard the song on the radio. You guys were great people and singers. Keep up
your good work. It was also fun remembering those days and nights at Barneys.
My best wishes Joel Spivak
